Need an easy snack idea that is also perfect enough to impress? I got you covered. This platter may look fancy, but I assure you it is super easy to put together. Made with wholesome ingredients it is perfect for hosting your friends with kids!
The key to this platter foremost is some great crackers. You want something that can hold up the ingredients but is not too big that you need a plate to hold it! Think finger food. Next, a good vegan cheese, hummus or your favorite dip to add to the cracker and then you can layer on the veggies. I love the crunch of thinly sliced cucumbers best while my kiddos love the herby tomato salsa. You can also fill the board with some fresh fruit, like blueberries or grapes, and something sour like pickles or olives.
I will mention that for this platter I used RiceWork crackers as they were kind enough to send me some to sample. The gourmet sea salt and black sesame ones are fantastic for holding up veggies. The tomato salsa ones went great with this herbie yogurt dip. The crackers are gluten-free and have very clean, minimal ingredients. I was pretty happy with the taste and texture of them as well.
I know I am always looking for snack ideas, both for my kiddos and to share with my friends. So I wanted to share this tray with all of you ( for more ideas check out this post). So I put this platter together for that very reason, just to photograph it for the blog. Thankfully I was quick enough to snap a few pictures before my kids ransacked it. Those monsters, you would think I never feed them 😉 hahah!
Anyhoo, I will keep this one short and sweet so you can get to the recipe and back to your day! Thanks for stopping by! If you end up making these I would love it if you leave a comment down below or share a photo with me over on Instagram (@at.my.table)
